ReplyDeleteI have canned. I started last year. I am loving it! Nothing like looking at the filled Mason Jars, they are so beautiful, like art. So far this year I have canned blueberry jam and pickles. Looking forward to canning a lot more this fall.

ReplyDeleteI used to can with my Mom when we lived on the farm, and I miss it, but it is kind of epensive for the initial investment. Esp when you don't have alot of extra cash :)

ReplyDeleteI have never canned but I watched my grandmother do it every year. She had the best canned tomatoes in southern Ohio! That art stopped when she passed. I seriously need to start canning and teach my kids.
