I was given the opportunity to review the Comfort Shield Crib Mattress Protector with Spill Block.  I was looking forward to it.

First off the mattress cover that I had currently on my youngest's bed was used for both years.  Needless to say it has seen better days.  Second of all I'm in the process of potty training my youngest.

The first thing I noticed is how soft the terry surface is.  It is really incredibly soft.  My daughter is currently in a toddler bed but it uses her crib mattress.  The Comfort Shield Crib Mattress Protector with Spill Block fit her bed perfectly.  It was very easy to put on the mattress also.  I have noticed that other brands sometimes take major stretching to get them to go on.  This in not the case with the Comfort Shield Crib Mattress Protector with Spill Block.

I also really like that the terry material is waterproof.  That is a must when you have a potty training toddler.  I made the mistake one day of letting her go take her nap with a pull up.  Any parent that has used training diapers knows they don't hold as much as a normal diaper.

Needless to say her bed was wet.  It did not get past the terry material.  Once the Comfort Shield Crib Mattress Protector with Spill Block was washed there wasn't a stain or anything.

The Comfort Shield Crib Mattress Protector with Spill Block also protects your mattress from bedbugs and dust mites.  I don't know about you but that is a huge plus to me!
