Kaylee's Last Day of MOPS

Today was a bittersweet day in our house. It was Kaylee's last day of going to MOPS with me.  I have been going with her every since she was a baby.  My sister in law actually told me about the organization when I was pregnant with Kaylee.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.  It is for mothers who are pregnant all the way through kindergarten.  It has been so great for us. It gives moms a chance to meet other women who have children close in age who can share experiences together.

While the women meet childcare is provided and the children get to play and interact with each other.  Every MOPS meet on different days and have different hours but the idea is the same. They hold meetings during the school year and have summers off. Any women with small children should check out MOPS.  They can tell you where meetings are in your area.

I can't believe that my big girl is no longer going.  She isn't in kindergarten yet but she starts pre-k in August,  it is all day so she will be busy at school.  It's funny how things change so quickly.

I'm not taking her going to school very well.  I always planned on homeschooling her but she is a social butterfly and really wants friends and to go to school.  Every personality is different and I don't want to hold her back.
