My family starts our tradition first by going to look at the cities Christmas displays,around our city park,after that we do a bit of shopping,and finish our evening off by baking,its a fun filled tradition,started by our Grandmother,and today I do this with ,my Grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteit is just my husband and i and we have no family in our state. neither one of us is a big holiday person so we just try to spend the day together relaxing and we usually go to a movie. we don't reallly exchange gifts so spending time together, no matter what we do, is our total focus.
ReplyDeleteWe're not really huge on traditions..but we do drive around looking at the decorated houses, and we usually do bake cookies.. well, we TRY to bake them, cooking is not a strong suit in our family. It's the thought that counts, right?
ReplyDeleteSince I was a kid, every year on Christmas Eve we unwrapped a pair of pajamas to sleep in that night! I've carried on the tradition with my own family!
