Why is bedtime so hard?

The nightly fight, I really don't get it.  Aby so far has been the easiest child at bedtime.  I wish I could say the same for Kaylee.   The difference between the two at night is crazy.  All I have to do with Aby is put her in her crib and we are good for the night.

Kaylee has only been sleeping in her bed from start to finish for maybe 6 months.  I think she was spoiled by the fact that I breastfed her until 18 months and she fell asleep at night that way.  First it was that she wanted to sleep with us no matter what.  Then she had to fall alseep with us and we would move her to her room.

Now every night she will find any reason not to go to bed.  She will ask to be tucked in like 10 times a night.  Asks for drinks even though she knows if she is given one it means a wet bed.  Until the last couple of weeks if I had her in bed she would fall alseep before my husband got home and have a good night sleep.  Now she will stay up until he is home and once he is all bets are off for her to go to bed.  She has been averaging 10 PM every night the last two weeks!!  On top of that she is up at 7 or 8 in the morning.

Oh and did I mention she hasn't napped since she was 2?  The child is against sleep, I don't know what to do.  I have tried taking away things and she is fine with it.  Time out doesn't work with her either.  I'm hoping that she goes back to going to bed at 8 soon, I need my unwind time at night.
