Yesterday's Excitement of the Day

I go to get Aby out of here crib and she is completely covered in a rash.  I'm talking her face, chest, back....a big red splotchy mess.  I knew I had been sick a couple weeks before and Kaylee was showing signs of it and Aby was crabby and acting sick too. So I called the doctor thinking that would be the connection somehow. They told me rash was connected to Strep so I rushed her in.  I told them both girls had the same thing because they started feeling bad at the same time. 

Come to find out Aby has all 4 of her 12 month molars coming in at the same time.  The rash...well that is from her MMR shot she received 2 and a half weeks ago!!  She isn't contagious or anything.  He said it doesn't even bother her.  It just looks absolutely horrible.  I can give her Benedryl to bring down the rash and that is about it.

It's a good thing I had him look at Kaylee too.  She has an ear infection.  I asked her if her ear hurt after the appointment.  She said a little but not much.  I had to explain to her that ear pain is not something not to tell me about.  Always something :).
